What You Need To Know: #1) Lug Size (Distance between the lugs where bracelet or strap fits). KNOW THE LUG SIZE, The spring bar sizes listed on the pages below are the lug size the bar was designed to fit (not the end to end size). #2) Thickness of the Spring Bar (Most common thickness of all is 1.80 mm for leather straps, metal bracelets and rubber bands. However, some metal bracelets have narrow tubes and require 1.5 mm and sometimes smaller diameter bars. Also, certain bracelets and rubber strap where designed for thicker bars. #3) Type Of Bar To Use. Depending of the requirement and uses, spring bars come with different types and styles of ends. The two most common bars are Double Shoulder and Double Flange, which are practically interchangeable for most uses on leather, rubber and metal bracelets. Some, prefer Double Shoulder for leather and Double Flange for metal bracelets. Bracelet Clasps and Bracelet Links can require Special Ends or even Single Shoulder Spring Bars which you will find all listed on the linked pages below.
