| Job offering # 1 We are in need of someone who can answer phones, take telephone orders and input the orders in our computer system. The opening is for our Watch Band, Jewelers Displays, Boxes and Jewelry department, which also work closely with our Watch Parts & Watch Tool departments. The job also involves some receiving of merchandise and also helping out at our counter when needed. We offer medical, dental benefits and have a 401k plan. Prefer college graduate, however will accept a high school graduate with at least two years of college and two years work experience in telephone sales or customer service. Or perhaps you are looking for a job, which allows you to learn many skills and gaining valuable hands on experiences in your field of study. Requirements: College degree and be capable in communicating with others with good verbal and written skills. Interested in all aspect of sales and the business of buying and selling products. Must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, knowing how to use a popular data base program would be an added plus. It also would be great if you knew how to operate a digital camera, use Adobe PhotoShop and have used a desktop publishing program such as Quark, Page Maker or MS Publisher, otherwise we will teach you. Also if your already web ready that would be great, since adding products and text to our web site will also be part of the job. Job responsibilities to include at least: Processing and filling all orders and answer all e-mails from our web sites. Participate in the ordering, receiving and stocking of web site items and non-web site items. Assist whenever needed answering phones and waiting on the counter with the personal in the Watch, Clock, Crystals, Bands, Jewelry and Display departments. In charge of customer service and to help with problem solving for the above departments. Participate or be responsible for hiring new employees if need. In affect we are looking for someone who can and is willing to try to learn all the things that we do and to try to help us do them better. Work close to the Lake Merritt Bart Station in Oakland in area that still has free all day street parking just south of Jack London Square. We have medical and dental benefits and a 401k plan.
